UVDTF Application
UVDTF Decal Applicator Instructions:
1. Surface Preparation:
- Clean the surface where the decal will be applied using alcohol or a mild dish soap.
- Ensure the surface is free from dust, dirt, and any other contaminants.
- Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding with the application.
2. Application Method:
- Separate the white film (B side) from the clear film (A side) slowly. If portions of the decal stick to the white film, gently press the clear film onto the white film and try separating again, possibly from a different angle.
- Once separated from the white film, align the transfer on the intended surface.
- Bend the transfer to find the middle, and begin applying from the center outwards on each side.
- Take your time to avoid trapping air bubbles.
3. Bubble Removal:
- Use a squeegee or a similar flat-edged tool to press firmly on the decal, starting from the center and working outward.
- Apply even pressure to ensure proper adhesion and to remove any trapped air bubbles.
- Work slowly and carefully to prevent damaging the decal or the surface.
4. Removal of Clear Film (A side):
- Once you have applied the decal and ensured that it is firmly attached to the surface, begin removing the clear film.
- Slowly peel off the clear film, ensuring that all parts of the decal remain on the surface.
- If any parts of the decal start to lift with the clear film, gently press them back onto the surface before continuing.
Please note:
- Avoid applying the UVDTF decals to textiles, as they are not suitable for fabric surfaces.
- Take your time during the application process to ensure proper alignment and avoid air bubbles.
- If you encounter any difficulties during the separation or application process, try different angles or reposition the decal gently.
